ECTS and Grading System

One academic year of study in a degree programme at UJEP corresponds to sixty ECTS credits which represents the European standard established by the Bologna Process. The ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) enables transparent comparison and recognition of study results among universities across Europe. Higher education programmes in the Czech Republic are assigned to specific levels of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). This system guarantees the transparency and comparability of qualifications not only within the Czech Republic but also throughout the European Union.
