UJEP does not organise Czech language courses for degree study applicants. However, we are happy to direct you to organisations that provide Czech language or preparatory courses. You can find links to external language course providers through the Study in Czechia portal or you may visit the website of the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies of Charles University – the largest centre for teaching Czech as a foreign language in the Czech Republic, with over 60 years of tradition.

Czech language exams

UJEP offers Czech language exams (A2, B1, B2) for foreigners, organised exclusively for UJEP applicants. For foreign nationals applying to study at UJEP, passing the Czech language exam is a mandatory requirement. Specific information is provided in the Admission Requirements of individual UJEP faculties. The exam date is set in accordance with the admission schedule of the faculties (usually in May/June). Detailed information is communicated to applicants by the study departments of the respective faculties.
